My name is Madison McGowan, and I’m a personal trainer with over five years of experience helping people of all ages in the beautiful Palm Springs area build shape, strength, confidence, and a healthier lifestyle.
My passion for fitness comes from my own journey. Growing up, I never felt drawn to traditional sports, but when I discovered the gym in my teenage years, something clicked. It became a place where I could challenge myself, build myself up, and make myself strong. Later, during college, I found myself overweight and feeling disconnected from that version of myself. Getting back into the gym changed everything. Through consistency and dedication, I lost over 60 pounds and completely transformed my lifestyle. More importantly, I discovered how powerful strength can be—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too.
That experience is what led me to become a personal trainer. I’m passionate about helping people realize that the gym isn’t just about changing how you look—it’s about building confidence, discipline, and a healthier relationship with your body. I love creating an environment where people feel supported, capable, and proud of what they’re accomplishing, whether they’re brand new to fitness or have been training for years.
Over the years, working with everyone from teenagers to grandparents has shaped the way I coach—focusing on safe, effective training that supports long-term strength and quality of life. My coaching style focuses primarily on strength training and weightlifting, supported by conditioning, HIIT(high-intensity interval training) or circuit-style workouts, and consistent mobility and stretching work. I place a strong emphasis on proper form, building muscle, improving overall fitness, and helping clients fuel their bodies in a way that supports their goals and long-term health. After all, we are only given one!
For me, strength represents lifelong freedom and resilience. I’m passionate about helping people discover what they’re capable of and building a body that can support them through a long, challenging, and beautiful life.
