Short Bio:

My name is Brandon Wertz, and I am a personal trainer at Palm Springs Training Facility with 15 years of hands-on experience coaching clients in person. Fitness is not a hobby for me. It is my profession, my lifestyle, and my standard.

Before stepping into the fitness industry full-time, I served in the United States Marine Corps, where I led Marines and prepared them physically and mentally for combat. Leadership, discipline, and accountability were non-negotiable. I carry that same standard into every session. I do not ask clients to operate at a level I am unwilling to demonstrate myself. I believe in leading from the front.

Over the years, I have tested myself at the highest levels of strength and physique competition. I have competed in multiple USPA powerlifting meets, earning Elite status with a 1,642lb total: a 585lb squat, 435lb bench press, and 623lb deadlift. Strength is something I have built under the bar through years of disciplined training.

I have also competed in multiple NPC bodybuilding competitions as an Open Heavyweight, earning a 1st place finish at the California State Championships. Stepping on stage requires a different level of precision, conditioning, and mental resilience. I understand both extremes of the spectrum — maximal strength and refined physique development — and I apply that knowledge to my clients’ programming.

My coaching focuses on structured programming, precise technique, progressive overload, and practical nutrition strategies that produce sustainable results. Technique is non-negotiable. Details matter. Execution matters.
